Default Chase debt and credit report

I filed bankruptcy last May. I was declared a NOASSET case and 341 meeting in June had no objections. Last day for anybody to object was August and nobody did, and I received discharge papers in the mail a couple of months ago.

I thought about starting over and decided to request my credit report to see what was on it. Since I’m not familiar with all that should be after bankruptcy, I looked it over and pretty much just about all of the accounts say zero balance or included in BK or Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Except for two; The Gap still has a balance of 302 dollars but does say included in BK. A 4,500 loan from Chase is not listed anywhere on the credit report as having owed or not and no mention of it anyplace except online in an old credit account that I had with them which I can still log into. The information there says zero interest accrued, zero amount due, zero interest rate and the amount that I still owed them of 4,500 but no next payment due amount. Zero is in there also.

Now why would this Chase debt not be on my credit report? Anybody ever deal with them, and if so, what was the outcome?

Creditors are not obligated to report information to credit bureaus, so maybe Chase decided not to report the debt. Were both credit reports from the same bureau? If there is inaccurate information about your student loans from the former creditor, dispute the information.
