Default Car Accident Captured by Google Street View

It appears a Minneapolis woman decided to drive her Mercedes Benz E-Class into a tree - and the Google Street View camera car was there to capture it. Unfortunately the moment of impact wasn't captured by the pseudo-surveillance set-up so we're left with a head scratcher. It appears to be a one car accident, on a lightly congested street, in broad daylight - with a big tree. We'll refrain from the easy lady driver jokes, but still, how the heck did that happen?

FYI never used the word 'accident' to describe a crash or a collision. The word 'accident' implies that no one caused the loss, it "just happened by accident."
Car crashes are always caused by something. Someone is always at fault. Even squirrels, or boneheaded drivers using their cell phones and eating dinner while 'trying' to drive at the same time. Doh!

Here is the picture:

Pretty unspectacular if you ask me. It is funny that Google captured it though.
